SLIVA KNIT

SLIVA KNIT

This soft-textured sliva knit is created into a pile fabric by directly knitting “sliver,” which is a rope of cotton (cotton) instead of yarn, without losing the quality of the material.

The texture is much more fluffy and warm than other pile fabrics.

In addition to its flame retardant performance, Kanecaron ®️ Protex A®️ is used, which has the ability to protect the skin from burns by absorbing and retaining infrared rays when the material is exposed to heat rays from explosions and other sources.

Features of Kanecaron Protex

・Flame retardant fiber, a material with flame retardant properties

It has self-extinguishing properties that stop burning as soon as the source of the fire is released. Unlike flame-retardant fibers that are treated with post-processing, its flame-retardant properties are not diminished or lost through washing, etc.

・Carbonized Fibers

When burned, the fiber carbonizes without melting. The carbonized portion prevents the spread of fire, and combustion ceases as soon as the fire source is eliminated. Unlike polyester and other molten fibers, carbonized fibers do not melt and adhere to the skin when burned.

・Soft texture

Lightweight, warm, and resilient, with a soft and supple texture due to its unique fiber shape. Kanecaron, which is also used in faux fur and wigs, is soft to the touch and does not easily generate static electricity, which is often a problem with polyester materials.
